Arin Keshishi is an Armenian bass player and composer from Iran, based in Amsterdam. He is a virtuoso bassist and a skilled composer in the jazz fusion world. Through his extensive musical experiences, Arin has developed a unique approach to blending his Eastern musical roots from Armenia and Iran with contemporary Western music, resulting in a fusion style that
appeals to a broad audience. Arin’s debut album, Self-Reflection, is a clear example of his personal journey and cultural heritage. Arin Keshishi Quintet consists of virtuoso players from Europe and Iran, each with extensive experience in jazz and fusion. These musicians have a deep understanding of Arin’s musical vision, and together they create a remarkable sound. Each member of the quintet strives to express the richness and authenticity of Eastern folk music while incorporating Western techniques, preserving the essence of both traditions.
